Claire Moore
Professional qualifications include an LLB Hons Law degree, where she excelled in the field of Child Law. Claire continuously develops her expertise in various domains such as safeguarding, safer recruiting, and is also a Professional Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management, among others. Claire boasts an in-depth comprehension of legislation and regulations and well-versed in best practices.
Claire is driven by her passion for fostering cultural change, firmly upholding core values and principles. She is an ethical professional who is trusted, honest and dynamic, possessing valuable soft skills with a proven ability to establish effective and rewarding relationships. She has a genuine interest in multiple aspects of the law; particularly child and family law, as well as employment law and relations.
For over a decade, Claire has also served as the Chair of Governors for a School Governing Body taking a strategic role in the running of the School, acts as a critical friend and ensures accountability to the school community. She is actively engaged in the schools direction and improvement plans, as well as overseeing financial monitoring. As chair, she collaborates with the SLT to build on the current successes and is committed to a robust plan of improvement for the learning outcomes of all the students in which she aspires to reach OFSTED ‘outstanding’ status.
Claire's extensive and diverse experience, combined with her expertise in Child and Family Law is a valuable asset to ACS.

Dave Wood
Operations Director
Dave possesses extensive years of qualifying expertise across a diverse range of industry sectors. As a proven and self-motivated entrepreneur and manager, Dave is constantly seeking enhancements in all aspects of his work. In contrast to many individuals nowadays, he guarantees unwavering commitment whenever he embraces a cause or pursues a new interest. Considerable contemplation is invested in Dave’s endeavours, as he possesses the ability to discern what others may overlook. Recognised as a reliable problem solver and go-to person, he possesses the capacity to motivate the workforce, enhance efficiency, and foster a positive culture of health and safety.
Dave exhibits adeptness in displaying empathy and comprehending diverse circumstances and individual requirements. He has a profound understanding of moral values and an unwavering commitment to pro-life principles. Dave is highly motivated, hardworking, loyal, and trustworthy, with an innate ability to inspire others and elicit their finest qualities.
Dave possesses a blend of authoritarian and participative leadership styles, believed to emanate from his military background as a Royal Engineer. During his military training, he also gained expertise in leadership training and achieved the rank of Junior Sergeant. Dave's early military career has prepared him well and he has high expectations for his staff team in terms of self-discipline, punctuality, reliability, work ethic, honesty, meeting the needs of commissioning partners, and maintaining a professional appearance as representatives of the company. Above all, Dave emphasises the importance of adhering to legal and regulatory requirements. Dave holds NEBOSH qualifications and is an experienced H&S professional demonstrating a thorough understanding of H&S Legislation.
Having accumulated a substantial amount of professional experience, knowledge and skills, Dave boasts over ten years of business expertise and triumph as a business owner. Dave is determined to do whatever it takes to make a difference to children’s lives.

Service Manager
Steve Moore
A compassionate and skilled Service Manager with extensive experience who possesses strong interpersonal skills and excels at building robust bonds with young children. Steve is dedicated to promoting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being and development of young people. With his engaging activities, he can keep children safe, and rise to any challenge. Steve leads a culture that is inspirational and will encourage all young people in our care to fulfil their potential and protect and promote their welfare ensuring they maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle. Steve leads and manages in a way that is consistent with the approach and ethos of the company.
Steve's previous experience as a Private Investigator specialising in Covert Surveillance, Legal Document Delivery, Trace Agent, Enforcement Officer, and Court Official, with a scope that extended nationally and internationally. He worked closely with local authorities, providing assistance in child care matters. Steve demonstrates unwavering dedication to the wellbeing and safety of children. Additionally, he possesses exceptional ability in Staff Leadership/Management, Health and Safety, Childcare/Youth care, Safeguarding, Child Psychology, encouraging life skills, promoting learning and development and conducting risk assessments.
Steve takes immense pride in his accomplishments and contributions towards the development of young minds. He has been successful in transforming the lives of numerous young individuals. Steve actively promotes fundamental life skills and possesses multiple relevant qualifications in the fields of education and child welfare, including expertise in wellbeing and safeguarding. Steve possesses a natural ability to connect with people, particularly children, and he consistently applies the lessons learned from his personal life to his work.
As a Service Manager, Steve is dedicated to supporting and mentoring colleagues to a high standard while working tirelessly for the welfare of young children at ACS.
